From the under 20s, there were wins from Josh Prendergast (3000m in 9.29.08) and Jamie Macdonald (2000m steeplechase in 6.14.04). The under 17s notched up wins, from Joseph Hunt (1500m steeplechase 4.32.44) and Lily Slack (800m 2.23.24).

There were a few from TAC competing, although the sprinters seemed to have the most success. Cold and very wet conditions meant times were generally slower than hoped for. Purdey Hutchings (u13) had her first race of the season and was only just outside her 800m pb with 2.35.22.

James Kingston came a close second in the GB under 23 trial over 10,000m, running 29.35.84, after a first half around 15.05.
The European qualifying time was 29.20 and only the winner would gain automatic selection should they have achieved the time.

Once again Helen Gaunt produced a superb marathon performance, finishing as 3rd UK female in 2.35.38, which breaks her own TAC women's record, by 3.32. It was also the fifth fastest ever W40 time by a UK athlete.

Jacob and Joseph Hunt, who have recently joined TAC from Holland Sports, were the only two competitors from the club at the first Watford Wednesday and both came away with excellent personal bests. Both were in 1500m race J, with Jacob running 4.08.52 (pb by 8.0s) and Joseph 4.11.27 (pb by 5.8s).

Friday Night Under The Lights 5km Road Race, Battersea Park, Friday 17th March 2023
Lucy Reid had a good return to racing with a win in a fast time at Battersea Park in 15.52. This is a second quicker than Nicole Taylor's TAC record. Cameron Chambers ran 15.06 which is 52s quicker than his best ever at the distance, although achieved on the track.

James Kingston followed up his National win with 7th in the senior Men's race, which was the highest placed TAC this century, beating Ben Cole's previous record of 15th. Alex Howard's 15th equalled the old best.
Verity Hopkins was 24th in the Senior Women's race and Matthew Dubery 19th as part of the winning Kent u20 men's team.\\
