Please ensure that the following is adhered to, as the organisers have requested -
Only approved club vests should be worn
Competition numbers should be fixed to the front of the vests (Js on the rear for U20s)
and asked that athletes not selftime their races with their arms across their numbers.
The Race Referee has asked me to pass on a warning that athletes could be issued with Yellow Card conduct warnings if they disregard the above.

Dear All
We look forward to welcoming you to the third KXCL of the year. We cannot quite live up to Somerhill’s standards, but we do thank Bexley Council that it makes it possible to host. The course has some minor adjustments, thanks to Paul Hills. The finish has been moved, not by much, but to the inside of the course route.
We will ask marshals to remind spectators and athletes to be more aware of crossing the course in this area, but those watching should get a better view of the finish. It will help if clubs can ensure tents are set up not too close to the route.
One of the reasons for the move is naturally for fellow competitors to cheer on team mates etc, but if you are wearing a race number, remember if you get too close to the finish, the number can be picked electronically by the finish line radar, so please not to close.
Officials, and those with club tents only, can access the entrance to the event. through the manned gates in Lakeside Close DA15 9PW. Cars/mini buses can remain there for the duration, we will give out a sheet to be displayed on the screen. Please do encourage your members to car share and park appropriately at the venue’s car parks, and take residents and park users into account. A fine reflection on our great sport is we have not received complaints from park users, who we cannot restrict access to in any way, and we would just ask that this is kept in mind.
Race control, medics, will be situated near the start/finish line (we are also obliged to have a lost child policy) in the slim chance this happens, this will be based at race control.
Toilets will be on the hard standing roadway near the start/finish, as previously.
For those who have not been before the race is in the south of the Park alongside the A2.
Currently the rain and warm weather has insured a healthy growth of grass, suitable for spikes for the whole course.
