TAC Distance Runners and Supporters (those attending the National Champs)
Although we are a week or so away from the trip I just want to issue some information, so that parents can brief the young athletes involved and all others can help make it run efficiently.
I have updated the bookings link here, which in columns P and Q, highlighted in yellow, shows which bus to get on.

Attached are the following -
1. Key information sheet (also copied below this email)
This includes some contact mobile numbers.
There are also a detailed trip information pack, course maps etc here -
https://www.tacdistancerunners.com/english-national-cross-country-championships-east-park-sedgefield-county-durham-saturday-21st-february-2026.html
2. Reminders of how we operate.
This is really important, with explanations as to how we treat our bus drivers, hotel staff and any other guests at the hotel.
Parents please reinforce these to any young athletes going.
Which bus to get on ?
The first challenge for those travelling on the TAC buses is to get on the right bus at the correct pick-up point. See the first link in this email.
Both buses will stop at all 4 pick-up points. I will oversee Bus 1 and James Taylor will oversee Bus 2.
Generally Bus 1 has u15s and u17s and this bus will leave for the course on Saturday, earlier than Bus 2. Please use the same bus throughout the trip, as it will be tight on Saturday, with some wishing to get a lift to the course and/or back.
The major requests that I have for you are to be early and ready at all the specified times and to let me know should any details need changing well in advance of us leaving.
Any questions please just ask.
Many thanks
Mark
